This product is separated into two separate zip files. Version 5.2/S/L provides customers with an easy to use Asset Register which can be used within any country with S/L depreciation rules. Calculates straight line monthly depreciation and book values by item and by asset category (office supplies, computers, equipment..etc). The Summary report combines depreciation totals , book values, disposals to the current or adjusted month end date

Version 5.2 provides capacity expansion up to 10,000 asset records plus 25 asset categories. The user can define asset Categories so that their register fits their business needs exactly.

Version 5.2 harneses the powerful lookup features of Excel. Look up features are incorporated so that users can retrieve any asset record, and look up the total depreciation and current net book values of each individual asset class quickly and easily. The program calculates the numbers of assets held in total and by class and calculates average costs by class.

Among the new features built into version 5.2, the user can switch depreciation calculations backwards or forwards in time, instructing your register to calculate depreciation totals and book values at any month end date. Very useful for checking previous year end balances or forecasting cumulative depreciation and book values ahead when preparing financial forecasts.

Summarises year to date depreciation balances and written down book values.

Depreciation periods can be any number of months for each asset record. No limits.

Calculates net gains/losses on disposals.

CURRENCY > You can set the currency to any symbol by opening the Format menu in Excel and selecting Cells from the drop down list, which produces the Format Cells table. Click Currency and then choose the currency you want to work with from the Symbol panel.
