Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How safe is it to purchase spreadsheets from this site?

A: The Order Form pages for this store are served through a secure "https" connection using 128-bit SSL v2/v3 encryption managed by Yahoo! and by ScanAlert "Hacker Safe" technology tested and certified daily to pass the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test. The checkout process encrypts credit card information when a shopper enters the credit card number in the web browser, when it is sent to our server, and finally when it is sent from our server to our order processing center.

Q: How do I sell my spreadsheets?

A: Simply click on the "Sell your Spreadsheets" button to the left and fill out the brief form and attach your spreadsheet. You can also email us screen shots or we will take some for you to add to your product page. Include a brief description of your spreadsheet, what it does, the value it provides to the user, the price you want to charge, and we do the rest. Please do not include any confidential personal or business information in the spreadsheets themselves. They are meant to be tools and templates that other people can edit for their specific needs.

Q: How and when am I paid if I upload a spreadsheet for sale?

A: We will send you monthly performance statements with checks or PayPal payments (based on your preference) every month once your spreadsheets have earned you commissions totaling at least $25. For spreadsheet sellers that earn more than $200 per week in commmissions, we will mail you a check or PayPal payment on the 15th and 30th of every month.

Q: Are there listing fees like the ones eBay? What is the commission?

A: There are NO listing fees on our site. Therefore, unlike eBay, there is no cost to you if your product does not sell, and it will stay available for sale indifinitely unless you ask us to take it down. We earn a 30% commission each time your product sells, and you earn the other 70%. You set your price. We host your spreadsheets and their product pages and we pay for all of the transaction costs.

Q: How do I know how to price my spreadsheet?

A: This is a tough question, but ideally you can estimate the appropriate price for your spreadsheet. If the demand for your spreadsheet is low, you may need to decrease your price. You may make up for the lower price per unit in greater volume!
